DJAARA to build massive yabby farm in new enterprise

DJAARA launches a new food and fibre enterprise, DJAKITJ, meaning ‘dining room’ in Dja Dja Wurrung language, at the group’s new property near Bendigo.

Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation (DJAARA) launches a new food and fibre enterprise, Djakitj, at the group’s new property at Lockington, north of Bendigo. Djakitj will develop several projects around native Australian ingredients – including potentially the largest yabby farm in the southern hemisphere. New base to boost profile of one of Victoria’s World Heritage sites
