Ayers Rock features in The Deal Magazine

21 May 2019

Since the ILSC purchased Ayers Rock Resort in 2011, the resort has become a model of Indigenous Excellence in tourism and plays a significant role in the way Australians and the world see Uluru.

Today the resort, which is managed on our behalf by ILSC subsidiary, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, has a 38% Indigenous workforce, totalling 377
Indigenous employees, including 70 trainees.

The purpose of Voyages is to create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians through the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA) where Indigenous people can earn qualifications in tourism and hospitality before starting work at the resort.
