The Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) in close consultation with the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) and other local stakeholders is working to transition the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) Ltd (the ILSC subsidiary which operates fitness and conferencing facilities at 160-180 George Street Redfern, NSW) to new ownership.
Consultation with key local stakeholders has progressed and an Expression of Interest (EOI) for this transition has been finalised, which has been designed in partnership with the NCIE Ltd.

The consultation process has been community focused, with an emphasis on listening to key stakeholder groups within Redfern. The divestment and EOI process present a unique opportunity for NCIE Ltd, and a chance to strengthen the NCIE Ltd.’s vision of creating long-term improvements in First Nations peoples’ wellbeing.
Applicants must read the EOI Guidelines prior to submitting their EOI. All EOIs will be assessed against the eligibility and recommendations will be made to the ILSC Selection Committee based on the merits of each EOI.
