The combined Crocodile-Welcome Station (CWS) on Cape York is an ILSC-operated pastoral business.

Workers have undertaken a range of training qualifications including Certificate II Agriculture (Beef Production), first aid and horsemanship to complement their career-focussed training.

CWS also assists the Ang-Gnarra Aboriginal Corporation with the ongoing management of important rock art sites at Mushroom Rock, Giant Horse and Split Rock. Members of the Aboriginal community visit Welcome Station for cultural pursuits and family recreation activities. The Laura Races and Rodeo receive support from CWS with cattle for the camp draft, equipment for ground preparation and labour for event management and ground preparation.

Reef Trust Gully Erosion Project 
A group of scientists, Cape York Natural Resource Management staff and Indigenous graziers have reduced sediment run-off from one of its gullies by 85%.
