Trelawney Station

The handing over of Trelawney Station to the Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) by the ILSC will enable the organisation to expand its education, employment and social services for young Aboriginal people in the Tamworth area.

Ayers Rock Resort

The ILSC bought Ayers Rock Resort at Yulara to operate a tourism enterprise that can employ and train a large number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the tourism sector. The resort is operated by a wholly-owned subsidiary of the ILSC, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia.

Bulimba Station

The Traditional Owners of Bulimba Station, represented by Uwoykand Tribal Aboriginal Corporation (UTAC), entered into a partnership with the ILSC to establish a major cattle enterprise on the 294,740ha property.

Home Valley Station

Home Valley Station

Home Valley is a working cattle station and tourism enterprise which hosts an on-site training program for Indigenous men and women studying tourism, hospitality and a range of pastoral operations.

Merepah Station

Merepah Station

Innovative investment in Indigenous managed land has facilitated a 25 year income stream for Indigenous people across remote WA, the NT and Qld. Tradition based fire management is supported by the ILSC leading to increased Indigenous community cultural capital.

Mossman Gorge Centre-cultural tour

Mossman Gorge Centre

Mossman Gorge Centre is an Indigenous ecotourism development constructed by the ILSC and operated by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia in collaboration with the local Kuku Yalanji people. The centre offers visitors improved access to the Mossman Gorge World Heritage area and provides employment and training opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

National Centre of Indigenous Excellence

The National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) opened in 2010 after the ILSC purchased the former Redfern Public School and constructed much needed facilities to benefit Indigenous people across Australia.
